He podido probar el Grippy Serum Primer de Maybelline New York y la verdad que me parece muy buen producto.
Lo que más me gusta de este primer es que incluye ingredientes para el cuidado de la piel, por lo que además de alargar la duración del maquillaje, tiene tratamiento que va a hacer que con el uso continuado nuestra piel se vea más bonita y saludable.
Tiene una textura ligera, tipo sérum, lo que permite una fácil aplicación y una rápida absorción sin dejar una sensación grasa o pegajosa en la piel.
Es hidratante y prepara muy bien la piel para después aplicar el resto de productos de maquillaje.
El acabado es una piel hidratada y más rellena, con los poros menos visibles. Deja un aspecto muy saludable y cumple su función de alargar la duración del maquillaje aunque no lo he probado tantas horas como promete.
Yo SIEMPRE uso primer o prebase y éste me ha sorprendido gratamente.

Es un primer en formato serum que hidrata e ilumina la piel fijando el maquillaje durante horas. Su textura es líquida un poco pegajosa y adhiere el maquillaje para una larga duración, recomendado para looks que queremos que duren intactos todo el día. Viene con una pipeta que permite dosificar la cantidad necesaria para aplicarla a la piel.

Tuve la oportunidad de probar el Grippy Serum Primer y mi experiencia ha sido muy positiva desde la primera aplicación. Lo que más me sorprendió es su textura: al inicio se siente como un serum fresco y ligero, que se desliza fácilmente sobre la piel sin dejar sensación pegajosa ni pesada. Después de unos segundos, notas cómo la fórmula se transforma y empieza a crear esa base adherente que ayuda a fijar el maquillaje durante horas.
Su fórmula con un 2% de niacinamida es un gran acierto. No solo prepara la piel para el maquillaje, sino que también la cuida a largo plazo. He notado mi piel mucho más uniforme y con una textura más suave después de usarlo varios días seguidos. Además, la hidratación que aporta es real: incluso después de llevar maquillaje todo el día, la piel no se siente tirante ni reseca.
En cuanto al efecto final, la diferencia es notable. Antes de usarlo, mi maquillaje solía desvanecerse en la zona T o marcar algunas líneas finas a lo largo del día. Después de aplicarlo con Grippy Serum, mi maquillaje permanece intacto incluso después de varias horas, con un acabado fresco y natural. La piel se ve más voluminosa, hidratada y luminosa, como si llevaras un filtro suave.

Bien pero hay que pillarle el punto

La marca Maybelline me ha ofrecido este sérum primer para probarlo. De primeras hay que pillarle el punto de la cantidad a ponerte porque en mi caso la primera vez parecía rebozada en superglue jeje.. Una vez controlado esto, es cierto que después de unos 20 segundos la piel se vuelve pegajosa lista para colocar tu base y que no se mueva durante horas y creo que mejora la apariencia de la piel. Es un plus que contenga niacinamida.

El efecto final es muy notorio: antes de aplicarlo mi piel se veía un poco apagada y con los poros visibles, y después noto que el maquillaje se fija mejor, se ve más uniforme y dura más horas sin necesidad de retoques. Además, deja un acabado ligeramente luminoso que da un aspecto fresco y saludable. Sin duda, se ha convertido en un paso imprescindible en mi rutina de maquillaje.

Me gusta mucho su formato en sérum, es muy cómodo de aplicar y se desliza muy bien por la piel. La textura que aporta a la piel una vez seco es algo pegajosa para que el maquillaje se adhiera bien a la piel y permanezca intacto durante más tiempo. Su acabado es luminoso, si quieres darle un toque de glow a tu piel es perfecto. Además de hidratar mi piel contiene niacinamida que ayuda a tratarla. Producto ofrecido por la marca

Me ha gustado mucho este primer en formato sérum, si textura es muy ligera y se absorbe muy rápido en la piel. Deja una sensación pegajosa que hace que el maquillaje se adhiera muy bien a la piel y dure intacto todo el día dejando un aspecto de piel hidratada y con un poco de glow.

The bottle and dropper with the glass is very appealing. It was wasy to apply and felt soothing. It rubbed into my skin very easily and left a dewy coating on my skin making it look super smooth. It sort of glued to my skin but not in a tacky way. It made a beautiful base for my foundation and blush/bronzer. It make my makeup last all day without dry creases and wrinkles being apparent. Also there was no visible pores. When i washed my face it washed of really easily my makeup slid off and it went slimy upon water and cleanser on it. Really love this product

Firstly, it looks really nice in the bottle and the packaging is lovely, particularly the dropper - it makes it feel expensive! Secondly, it feels really nice on your skin. It definitely adds some grip to allow makeup to ‘stick’ better, but it’s uncomfortable on my face like some other ‘sticky’ primers are.
I tested it out every day for a week under my normal work makeup, and with the temperature increasing I thought this would be a good test. It held up really well! I noticed that my makeup, especially concealer, stayed more than it would without a primer and it was easy to apply makeup on top too. Overall I’d really recommend this primer!

Texture is quite runny and it feels like a serum and after it dries down, it becomes sticky. The foundation laid on my skin much smoother than when I use my regular primer and it was super hydrating! I applied my foundation on a brush first then on my face as I didn’t want any streaks due to the grippiness of the primer and it worked perfectly!
I love that it has niacinimide in it my skin loves it and it’s really great for oily skin. I feel like the base didn’t look super glowy either when I used this primer and looked more like a satin matte finish which is the kind of look that I go for!

The best primer serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Maybelline Grippy Serum Primer for a few days now and I’m actually really impressed. The texture is lightweight and slightly tacky, but in a good way – it feels smooth on the skin and not sticky or heavy.
What I really like is that it hydrates quite well even on its own. My skin feels softer and looks more fresh and radiant after applying it, even without makeup. It gives a subtle glow that makes the skin look healthy rather than greasy.
As a primer, it does help makeup sit nicely on the skin, but honestly I also enjoy using it on no-makeup days just for the hydration and glow.
Overall, it’s more than just a primer – it works almost like a light skincare step too.

Pretty good primer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The primer is not silky and serum like to touch and not sticky as one could expect. I apply two pumps on my face and go downwards to blend because it helps to sit the facial hair flat so makeup is smoother. After a few seconds of application the product becomes stickier than before so the foundation or your next base sticks to it and helps last your makeup. My makeup stayed on flawlessly for 4 hours but it will probably last longer (I washed my face after 4 hours). It comes with lots of products and little goes a long way so it will last you many uses. It was also gentle on my acne prone skin.

Flawless Makeup That Stays Put

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I do, but WOW—Maybelline really nailed it with this one! The Grippy Primer does exactly what it says: grips onto makeup and keeps it in place all day.
The texture is slightly tacky at first (which is a good thing!), and it really helps foundation stick and blend smoothly.
I have combo skin, and this primer keeps my T-zone from turning into an oil slick while still keeping the rest of my face hydrated. My makeup legit lasts hours without melting off, even in humidity.
If you want your makeup to stay put and look flawless, give it a try! 💯🔥

Gripping primer with a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was a very exciting product launch, as gripping primers seem to be taking the market by storm at the minute. My experiences with gripping primers haven’t been the best, as I usually find them too thick. That wasn’t the case with this however, due to it being a serum consistency. It glides onto the skin so well, dries down to a tacky finish quite quickly, and sits really well under makeup. I did also notice that my makeup lasted longer on places like my chin and nose, which tend to rub off quickly throughout the day. I am very happy with this primer and will continue to use it!

Right from the first application, the lightweight texture felt refreshing and absorbed quickly without leaving any sticky residue. It layers well under makeup and other skincare, which is a huge plus for me.
The 2% niacinamide concentration is perfect—strong enough to show results, but still gentle on my sensitive skin. Over time, I’ve noticed a visible improvement in the texture and tone of my skin. Redness around my nose and cheeks has diminished, and my complexion looks more even overall. It also helped reduce the appearance of some stubborn dark spots and minor breakouts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed! It has a nice grippy and glowy finish that helps grip foundation well, and I found it paired beautifully with the elf Halo Glow, giving a smooth and radiant base with no cakiness or separation
That said, in particularly sweaty areas, I did notice some smudging, so it might not be the best for super humid or long-wear situations. However, for everyday wear, it performed really well, keeping my makeup fresh and in place.
Would I repurchase? Absolutely, I also love the nicimade and the way it made my skin feel, it didn’t feel like a grippy primer but oh, it was!!

The texture is slightly gel-like, but very lightweight and smooth on the skin. It applies evenly and gives a noticeable “grip” effect – you can actually feel your foundation sticking better and lasting longer throughout the day.
I’ve tried it with both liquid and stick foundations, and it worked great with both. It doesn’t feel heavy or drying – in fact, it gives a light hydrating boost. It also helps blur pores slightly, without making the skin look flat or cakey, which I really appreciate.

Al principio es como un sérum normal, bastante grueso y algo pegajoso, pero a los segundos se absorbe realizando su función de primer y dejas de notarlo. Ayuda a que el maquillaje aguante más y te deja la piel iluminada e hidratada sin notarlo.

Me he tomado varios días para probar este producto. Su tacto no es graso, fijando el maquillaje de manera eficaz , dejando una piel hidratada sin nada de tirantez. Olor suave y nada molesto , un punto bastante importante para mi, formato práctico y de fácil aplicación

Maravilla de serum primer para el maquillaje. Lo llevo utilizando varias semanas y me aguanta el maquillaje todo el día. Deja la piel suave y lisa. Además tiene partículas de glitter que dan un aspecto fresco y luminoso al maquillaje. Me gusta muchísimo. Lo recomiendo
