Nice design, poor application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The eyeliner pen has nice packaging, the grip is really neat and comfortable to use. I like the size of the tip so you can get really precise lines. However, not sure if I was unlucky but there wasn't much pigment/product dispended when using and it wouldn't apply when using it over eyeshadow. I tried again without eye makeup, just skincare and again, it comes out really light. If it was more pigmented and had more product being dispensed (it doesn't seem to completely reach the tip), it would have been amazing. Also would be better if it were waterproof as it fades away quickly. The colour is nice though.

I wish it was precise…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to use the eyeliner to make a cat eye, but when I used it, it was dried out! I placed it upright with its tip pointing down for more than 3 days (thinking that the ink must needs some gravity due to transit of the product elsewhere) but I am very sad to use it again to find its very dry. It happen to hve a pointy soft tip that does glide perfectly, if it only has enough ink inside. It really felt a let down. I just hope it was just one of the cases when I was the unfortunate one who got the dried product.

Dry + lacks pigmentation

I bought this liner last week and used it last night for the first time, it was dry and there was little to no pigment by the time I started on the second eye. Then when I applied more pressure on the tip, it came out a faded brown shade. So much so, I had to go over top with brown eyeshadow which defeats the whole point in buying the liner. Although it’s a cheap option, in my opinion it would be worth spending more to get better pigment and drag not end up with sore eyes from dragging a dried up nib along my eyes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d been looking for a good brown liner for a while so jumped at the chance to try this out. I tried it out on my hand first to test the pigment and consistency and I have to say I was very impressed. Solid colour from just one swipe of the pen and didn’t budge after it dried. I tried it out the next day for work and it lasted all day. It isn’t waterproof but that’s fine, comes off easily with a makeup remover or even with a wet cloth. The thin tip made application extremely easy for an effortless winged liner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the forest brown shade, it is a beautiful neutral brown and it will look good on anyone.
This eyeliner is easy to apply, and the no-slip ergonomic grip makes a massive difference, specifically after applying moisturiser or if you are like me and have a problem with sweaty hands.
The precision tip is very comfortable, doesn’t change shape, it doesn't poke you while applying, the formula feels like nothing and doesn’t peel or come off when reapplied on top or layered.
Definitely getting more shades!

Precise easy to apply liquid eyeliner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great eyeliner. The precision tip means you can apply the liner with very fine lines. The ergonomic grip is amazing as I usually always struggle with gripping eyeliners with controlful application due to my MS.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the product could use some storage advice which I couldn't find. When I first used it, it was very blothcy and the eyeliner was not flowing out the tip smoothly. I stored it vertically with the tip facing down and since then it has been perfect.

Good everyday eyeliner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overal I like this eyeliner and it's good for everyday use. The packaging is nice and comfortable to use . I like pencil type eyeliners as I find them easier to use . The tip is long and very flexible which helps for precise application. It's easy to use but have to repeat application for more density and more product in general . After one stroke it looks pale and not much product is dispensed. It's not really smudge proof if you have oily lids have that into consideration.

Fabulous addition to my make up bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another fab product from Maybelline. Liquid Liner goes on very easily. Glides on smoothly and in one stroke. Felt applying this eyeliner was super easy with a precision tip, I found it smudge proof. It has a brush tip and easy to draw on your eye, felt good precision and a steady hand; doesn't stick or drag when applying. I liked the colour pitch brown felt suitable and glamourous for being older . colour lasts all day, it says lasts up to 24 hours but I don't wear make up that long. Found it easy to remove with my products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this part of a testing programme. I have used a few times now. I have found it very easy to apply and it just slides along my eyelids. Its pointy tip is very precise and it didnt smudge when i was applying. I was able to apply very thin layer. I applied it in the morning and at night it was still on and , it didnt crease at all. It was very black still even after few hours. Overall i think i will purchase this again as i was using a more expensive alternative.

Easy to use, dark brown in colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the colour Pitch Brown which is a very dark brown, almost black colour. I would like to have a lighter brown option as well. I have brunette hair, but I can imagine this would be a little dark for someone who is fair haired and wants a more subtle eyeliner colour. However, this eyeliner is super easy to use and so far has lasted well on me throughout the day. I would recommend the product to someone who is looking for a really easy to use eyeliner product

I am quite the fan and critic of liquid eye liners. This is one of my favourites to date if not my favourite. I wear a cat eye flick. The colour is strong, I didn't need to keep going over the area to cover. One swipe was plenty! I have been wearing it for a week and it hasn't smudged, it applies easily. Very happy. Having read the other reviews I'm a little confused. If there is an issue with the brush head I would take it back and get another. It's worth it!

Not worth using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this product as i like a brown eyeliner/mascara for different occasions.
Unfortunately, i felt my liner went dry far too quickly, so i struggled to get a smooth line. I could not use the liner over any other eye makeup at all. If i tried it was so dry Already it just wouldnt work.
The colour was great, the nib made it easy to get a lovely thin line or thicker as desired, bit unfortunately for me, the negative outweighed the positive.

A Versatile Product

You can use it for days wear, then when you want something a bit heavier, its ideal for night time also. Goes on really smoothly and has a lot of staying power. Got caught in the rain the other day, and I'm pleased to say it stayed perfect! Cant ask for more from a product, and it's one I would highly recommend-really does meet (and exceed expectations)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this eyeliner. The brush is super slim so you can be ultra precise for graphic looks. The grip swction on the actual stick is great as i find that eyeliners sometimes slip out of my fingers when im gripping them so this is a handy attition. The mix itself is super black and goes on well with just one stroke. I found that it lasted well in wet conditions and came off easily with an oil based cleanser

Great applicator but no staying power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate the non-slip ergonomic grip; if I can hold the applicator comfortably I feel a bit more confident right from the start. The precision tip is also a great shape, I was even able to use it as a stamp to provide me with a template to work with as I’m not the best at drawing wings. The only negative was that it had zero staying power, it came off completely just with a fingertip of water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] - I really liked this product. As someone who has always struggle wirh liquid eyeliner but really liked the look this was idesl. The applicator was essy to use. I found the product itself smudged far less than other products ive tried. Once dry it stsyed put. Personally i find this type of liner and product more difficult to apply than pencil hence the 4 but pencil doesnt create the same impact

I first tested it on my hand and within seconds it had dried. I used my finger to rub it and I rubbed quite hard but it wouldn’t move! I then tried it on my eyes; I’m not the best when it comes to wings but the pen tip makes it really easy to manoeuvre. The ergonomic grip is genius!

Just wanted to get my head around which one suits me the best and to be honest this one delivered. For the price I would say it’s pretty great. This eye liner is so easy to use and highly pigmented.
The formula was so easy to apply it lasted all night long but without being drying.
I love how thin the nib is making it so precise and perfect for creating a gorgeous winged look, not that I am very good at doing a wing but this liner makes it so easy.

Great liner but poor container - top pops off

I have bought tow of these and both times I have had to replace it early as the pressure top is susceptible to popping off randomly. The tip then dries out and its unusable. The liner itself is better than my previous comparable products, is strong and lasts well. I am just so frustrated that the top comes off and I find it all dried out.

It's brilliant to apply as the nib is so fine, but the staying power just wasn't there for me. It seemed to fade after a few hours, and I noticed that some colour had transferred to my upper lid. My only issue was that I have slightly mature skin so it didn't really create a even line when my skin wasn't pulled tight. My fine lines seemed to create a problem Perhaps left for the youngsters!

My only issue is that it doesn’t go over makeup. I normally apply my foundation first and the eyeliner won’t glide over it, unfortunately. I would recommend using it before applying the rest of your makeup.

It is also easy to build up the thickness of the lines. I tested the liner first on the back of my hands and it easily wiped off after so a little concerned about how long it would last if exposed to rain.

It's expensive and it's not waterproof or long-wearing. I found that it smudges all over the place. I got caught in the rain and someone stoped asked if I was ok because they thought I'd been punched, the smudging was so bad. There are other and better vegan products. I was really disappointed tbh.

Super dark brown and precise eyeliner

It’s very precise but unfortunately it does smudge so if you have oily skin it might not be for you. It also struggles to work on glittery/sparlking eyeshadows. It definitely does the job for every day basic eye look.

Lovely Eyeliner, does the job!

The only thing I’m not keen on is the fact the lid dosnt feel very secure.

Not very good

Shame as the eyeliner brush had a very good shape and I think it would’ve worked well if there was enough product/the formula was better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality felt tip eye liner. The product is pigmented, not too runny or too dry like some liners. I like the amount of control the brush tip gives & you can create a nice cat eye. The pitch brown is good, doesn’t have the harshness of a black cat eye while still giving drama.

No ink in the tip

Agreeing with the other reviews. No ink gets to the actual tip and I literally bought this brand new. I’ve tried flipping it upside down for a week, putting the entire pen in warm water… nothing. I have to press the base really hard to get ink but this beats the entire purpose.

I feel as though it’s fairly long wearing and the colour is proper black. I would just make sure after every use that the lid is definitely secure to stop it from drying up.

I went for brown as I wanted a softer look than my normal black which can look a little harsh for day to day wear. It is an intense shade of brown, highly pigmented so lasted all day.
