It’s a winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I struggle with panda eyes from most mascaras including waterproof so I use tubing mascara almost exclusively. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t get smudges all over my face by lunchtime with this mascara, or at all. I did get a few tiny specks towards the end of the day but nothing you’d see without really looking hard. It’s got a nice brush, nothing too big and bushy where you get mascara all over your lids. The mascara goes on really smoothly, you can build it up to get a more dramatic effect and it definitely does curl. My lashes don’t hold a curl as a rule but I definitely saw some curl with this. Definitely would buy it again.

Curled lashes that won’t budge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big fan of Maybelline mascaras and absolutely love the non waterproof version of Curl Bounce, so was interested to try the waterproof version too. The waterproof version has the same great length, definition and curling in a single step, with the additional staying power of a waterproof. And stay put it does - as with most waterproof mascaras the trade off is easy removal, so this one does last well through a sweaty dance session or workout, it’s just that little bit harder to remove. I’ll definitely be using this one for holidays, wet weather and weepy movies but will stick with the non waterproof version for day to day.

A fabulous sexy mascara for a night out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, just as the Maybelline Lash Sensation Sky High mascara is my go-to daytime look, the Colossal Curl Bounce mascara is my go-to night out look. The very black colour is dark and moody and it glides on thick and lusciously, making me feel almost like I'm wearing fake lashes. And another thing that works for me is the fact it's waterproof! Whether it's the joyful wet Manchester weather, tears from whatever life throws at me or trying to look good during aqua aerobics, it does stay on (which does mean it needs a bit of scrubbing off at night, but it's worth it).
Fab mascara, easy to apply and looks great on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received this part of a testing programme. I was using the normal one instead of the waterproof. I can truly say ever since i got this mascara my hand only reaches out to this. I gave up my curler because i was always curling before but this mascara does really both of these. It separates so well and makes it lengthy. It does not give me that clumpy look. I am really impressed with it. Wand does not pick up excessive mascara which doesnt waste the product. Waterproof is probably better in sense of you can use it on bottom lashes without smudging. This an all time mascara

Great mascara at a reasonable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing the non waterproof version of this mascara for a few weeks, so already had some idea what it would be like. I find it easy to apply, doesn't clog (I do always wipe the wand on a tissue before applying) and keeps lashes looking good and with a nice curve all day ( I do use an eyelash curler first) No smudging even with the non waterproof version, and this one is even more sure to keep you from getting "panda eyes" The brush is an unusual shape, and is effective in use. A little extra effort to remove, as always with waterproof mascara, but worth it!

Very black mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried colossal curl bounce mascara in very black and really liked it. Easy to apply and instantly thickened and darkened my sparse lashes whilst adding a slight curl. The brush was just the right size for applying just enough mascara without causing any clumping. One coat was enough but I preferred the effect better with a second coat which lengthened and curled my lashes that little more. It is long lasting and I went all day without needing to reapply. It didn't dry out on my lashes or smudge at all and was easy to remove at the end of the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is waaaay better than my usual-and its not a run of the mill waterproof mascara either. From initial use, it stayed perfectly put throughout the whole day. I'm seriously impressed with the curl factor as well; it actually does what it claims to do and really does curl lashes perfectly. Importantly for a waterproof mascara, its easily removed and my eyelashes actually feel healthier for using this. Another thing I like about is, that it makes my eyes bigger, better, rounderhigh praise form me and thoroughly deserved..love love love it.

Fab Mascara with Curling Ability & Great Wear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A Fantastic Mascara with Curling Ability and Great Staying Power. I was really impressed with the look and the feel of this mascara, the wax free and lightweight formula means I don’t feel like I’m wearing any mascara, while getting the benefit of a long lasting wear and waterproof staying power. It was easy to apply with minimal clumps and it did everything I wanted, coats, curls and gave good volume my lashes. It also dried really fast which is great for someone like me who has to wear glasses after I have applied my makeup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Maybelline mascara as I think it has a good consistency & their waterproof products have always performed well. I would however say that the waterproof version of this is not very good at being waterproof & smudges very easily. I found that both the waterproof & non waterproof do bleed under your eyes/ smudge a bit more than most of the Maybelline mascaras however I do love the curl it gives without having to use lash curler. The applicator is really nice & probably my favourite applicator. The mascara goes on nice & doesn’t seem to clump as much as other mascaras. Applies well and doesn’t clump. It also doesn’t leave your lashes feeling brittle after continuous days of applications & comes off very easily. I would recommend for a night out mascara.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking forward to using this but, slightly disappointed as it's just like any other mascara. Absolutely nothing colossal, curly, or bouncy about my lashes after use.
Tried it on both curled and non-curled lashes....done nothing exciting on either.
The packaging is nice and the brush is nice to use & coats lashes evenly in rich colour, that didn't clump or smudge. Also found it easy to remove using my usual micellar water.
All in all, a nice mascara but doesn't do what itn says on the tube.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is easily the best mascara I've ever used. I've tried going back to previous favourites since using it and they just don't hold up in the same way. My eyelashes are naturally very straight, and even if I use an eyelash curler, the curl is gone by the time I grab the mascara. It's amazing to put this on and see them curl up straight away. Such an impressive product, and it doesn't clump, crumble or irritate my sensitive eyes at all. Couldn't recommend it more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t fault this mascara at all. As a contact lens wearer I find it difficult to find a mascara that will give me a long lash look without using fibres as some other mascaras do.
The wand coats each individual lash lifting from the root giving a curled bouncy look that remains in place all day long, It doesn’t clump or flake meaning it’s perfect for lens wearers. Easily removed at the end of the day. It’s a must for all make up bags.

Good for sensitive eyes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't really sure I liked this mascara but the more I use it, the more I love it. It's lightweight, doesn't clump or flake and it really does make my eyelashes look longer and stronger and provides a nice curl even when I don't use an eyelash curler. It comes off easily with eye make up remover. I have sensitive eyes and this is a great mascara that doesn't irritate them and looks gorgeous all day. I highly recommend it!

Nice mascara but not my favourite

I find that for the first few uses the product is great - applies well, doesn’t clump & stays in place all day. Although after a few weeks of use, i find the product gets harder to use & thickens up somewhat, thus making it more awkward to get a clump free finish. I’ve used various other Maybelline mascaras & this 1 is far from my favourite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with this mascara, i love the shape of mascara which makes it looks sleek and classy, the mascara itself is very easy to apply, and build up as required, i have very short lashes so i did notice my lashes looked noticeably longer with the mascara, it gives more volume and length and gives the dramatic effects, it doesnt smudge and lasts ages . Its a fantastic mascara and i will definitely recommend it

Curl bounce gives such a good look without any effort or hassle and it lasts all day without smudging. I am really impressed and for a more dramatic look you can build it up without it clumping. It works for whatever level of make up I’m looking for light and fresh or strong and dramatic. It will be great for holiday season too no mascara run after a dip in the pool.

Love a waterproof mascara

Great colour for me as my lashes are very dark ,and because they are thin and fine this gives me the definition required .
Does give me some curl but maybe work better on somebody with longer lashes .
As the summer approaches and it gets warmer having and using a mascara that is not going to flake and smudge is fantastic .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybelline are great for mascaras, they have an amazing range to cover any look you want. This one gives a lovely curl and makes them look longer. Separates the lashes well and doesn't look thick or clumpy. Can be used for daytime or nighttime. Apply extra coats for a more glamorous bold look. It lasts well throughout the day. Being waterproof I found it a bit tougher to remove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this mascara, it does as the name suggests giving great volume and curls! Also no need to use a lash curler to get the curl I like. The brush makes it easy to apply and it’s drys quickly making it easy to layer up. It lasted the day but the the only downside was a bit of flakiness, otherwise this would have scored 5/5! I will definitely purchase this again!

Great new concept mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally use Lash Sensational mascara which I absolutely LOVE. My lashes are quite straight so I jumped at trying this one. It does give a slight lift to my lashes, but I still need to use an eye lash curler to get that proper curl. No flaking or smudging and the new waterproof version is a bonus. Not sure I would swap for Lash Sensational but still a very good second.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mascara. It volumises and defines, as I have small eye lashes. It really helps. It is super black and it really suits my eyes. I love the brush and the intensity of the colour. The bristles are great at getting the tiniest lashes. I put two layers and it is great as it does not clump. t is also waterproof and it is long lasting. To sum it up, it is colossal!

However I did not notice any great difference to the curl in my lashes, however I do have long naturally curly eyelashes. The one thing I felt let the product down was its packaging. It does not look like a mascara. It looks like a discreet carry case. that you would have in your handbag.

Good long lasting mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mascara gives a full, curled look with minimal effort, and doesn’t transfer throughout the day onto your upper lids which I often find happens. The curl of your lashes does drop slightly throughout the day but not drastically. You have to be quite precise when applying as it’s easy to get the product on your skin, and it can be a bit difficult to remove!

I prefer this mascara to the sky high. I just think it costs my lashes better. One eye has pretty straight lashes and the other is quite curly but this evens them up nicely. Does smudge a little on the bottom lashes but I still love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instant curl to my flat eyelashes - love this! MY eyelashes are usually very flat, but this product made them appear so full and bouncy. Extra bonus that it is waterproof too (always a requirement of mine when picking mascara). My lushes curly lashes lasted all day too - I will definitely be purchasing this product in the future as my go-to-mascara.

The same great curl as the non waterproof and a lovely jet black finish after 2 coats , although I have built up to 3 for a night out with no clumps, which is great. Not had to test in the wet yet as it's been beautiful weather since receiving this but I'm sure it'll live up to its name

The product didn't provide as much volume as I am used to but my lashes stayed lifted all day and the mascara is lightweight so lashes feel natural. I've not fully tested the waterproof claims but the mascara definitely stayed in place all day. I would recommend.

Another great Maybeline mascara

I applied this out of curiosity when I got it and sprayed my face with water to see see how it would hold up and it lasted well. The curl held and it didn’t end up flakey once the water dried either.
